I'm getting a ragdoll kitten tomorrow. Ragdoll is a breed of cat that is relatively new...apparently they're supposed to be a lot more cuddly and affectionate than regular cats. Not too much of a tough break, I just moved to MN for a couple years to be with someone I met online...it basically didn't work out (there are details, but meh..not important). I'm happy I did it, and if I had to do it over, I wouldn't stop myself from going. It all worked out well in the end, we're both in happier places, I think.
Yeah she's a bit bigger, but still a little runt :) I should take updated pics of her sometime soon. No, still has a cold...but I took her to a vet and she doesn't have any virus, no fever...they couldn't tell what was wrong with her and I haven't been back yet. She's fine most of the time, she eats and drinks fine, has energy...I just have to wipe her nose clean a few times a night.
Hey is it ok if I add you as friend? I don't get on LJ too often, but I like having local LJ friends, I've found it makes things more interesting when I hear about local stuff...plus your journal is pretty interesting :)

ABSOLUTELY add me! I LOVE getting comments (and making them as you can see!) And I'll hound your ass for posts if you get lazy (and expect the same!!). It's kinda nice having a 'neighbor' in my midst. Right now most of my friends are from Belgium (where I lived for most of my teenage life) and NY (my dream city).
As for you on-line romance/recovery - - adversity only makes us stronger (and wiser, one would hope). I've done MANY things that later I've thought, WTF were you thinking? only to realize they were lessons, even if painful, that helped me grow. I'm also the first one to say, 'shit happens'. :-) Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. (Especially if I'm PMS'ing and you leave the box within arm's distance, then you're just shit out of luck, dude).
