The Kindness of Strangers

Today, I had lunch with a friend of mine downtown. I parked the car and was walking away when this woman came up to me and pointed out that I was parked in a no-parking zone because of the assinine "Opposite Side of the Street Parking" rule in Sacramento. Basically, here in town, you can't park on each street one day per week because of street cleaning. (South Side = No parking on Monday, North Side = Tuesday, etc.) I was shocked that she was so helpful. LOL

I need to start checking those signs...
