mission trip...more in depth

so mission trip was so freakin awesome! i wish that i had gone other years too. my group (team beast) painted the outside of a house with oil base paint. omg it was so amazingly hot! we had tetherball tournaments at lunch and scott ulrich is so funny to watch play tetherball!! we painted ontop of a metal roof so that made it that much hotter. on the last day we went to a river, which we thought was going to be a creek where we went creeking. some of us were wearing flip flops, which was a bad idea. brigette got sucked away by the rapids. thomas saved my life a couple of times. i got sucked under by the rapids and almost sucked away if someone hadn't grabbed onto me. i managed to keep my shoes the whole time, while i lost my sunglasses, which i was really disappointed with. but oh man it was one of the best things ever! it was so much fun!! and then we went to nyc for our fun day. they wanted to go to ground zero but it was nothing special the last time i went so i wasn't too excited for it, but we went. we didn't go directly to the site, but to this church across the street from it and there was like a memorial type thing set up. like the stories and pictures and all that. so we started to read them and i was doing fine for a while and then i just lost it. but it was def worth it this time. we only got like a half hour in times square. but it was so much fun. and we went to hard rock cafe, it was good.

mission sunday was this sunday and i cried during our 9 minute slide show. friends was playing in the background so i just couldn't stop crying.

i played softball for the first time in years, slow pitch of course. it was a lot of fun even though it was really hot! then we went to wilson's pool and then i went to a pool party with my yg. then i went to dougs and made him watch 13 going on 30! i love that movie! but i was really tired, but then i came home and watched beaches.
