Werewolf Bitchez from Outer Space
9 degrees. So what. The WifFi works better. The DNS server, of course, works like shit because everyone's working from home today, which is also why if I want to make a phone call, I have to walk outside the apartment and stand in the street. Remember the 20th century? This century sucks. If too many people try to use the same wireless network at one time, it crashes and you get dropped calls. If too many people try to use the public switched network to access the local DNS server at one time, they get on the Internet but pages only load partway. Both networks performed a lot better ten or fifteen years ago. The telecoms have dumped more users on the networks than either can reliably support. Also they laid off people like me who would've yelled at them about being able to call 911 or not (I launched the enhanced version in New York and most of New England).
I watched most of the footage we've shot so far last night, and it looks stupid. Strong. A scientific expert in lycanthropy opens the film to explain the werewolf menace. He is upbraided by a voice of the black community, Todd, who tells him he's full of crap and explains that "chiggers" is not a racist term, but refers to freshwater larvae. The werewolves, all female, rescue a woman from her pompous ass, sexually dull boyfriend. They slaughter an art opening. All those little plastic cups of Chablis, half-drunk, left. They rip apart a New England sports dullard, liberating his lifetime friend for a beautiful future of gay freedom. The werewolves are unfailingly scantily attired. No nudity yet, but you have to stay an optimist about these things.

Monday's the best night to go there, famous people and strange things happen because no one goes out on Monday. I was pleased to be photographed at the Dylan Thomas table which is of course my table. Time to grow my hair out longer.
