When we still lived in Dupont Circle and were on the cusp of moving to Rock Hall.
Great stuff tonight. Nearly all those horrible Republicans with the rape comments, defeated. Elizabeth Warren, elected. First gay senator. Maryland DREAM act (tuition for children of illegal immigrants) approved by referendum, as was the legislation for same sex marriage.
Not sure how I feel about four more years of gridlock. Wishing Obama good luck with that, but better than the alternative.
Sad note. Dad can't vote anymore because he can't make informed decisions due to his dementia, Maybe the first tie he skipped a presidential election since he turned 18 or whenever the voting age was back then.
Gov Romney finally on his way to make concession speech.
PS - I have been keeping up with LJ as a lurker; difficult to find time to update.
