Rhodes Town
Really I need a Robin Hood icon to go with this. Rhodes was the last Christian outpost the Crusaders stopped at before going on into Turkey and then the Holy Land. So Probably Robin Hood, Prince John and entourage would have stopped here. The Knights established a stonghold and hospital to treat the wounded on their way home.
The city was eventually taken by the Ottoman empire and so is a mix of Chrsitian, Turkish and Jewish areas. Not forgetting that St Paul also stopped here on his travels.
