www.nanowrimo.org This November, I am putting all my fanfictions and writing projects on hold in order to participate in NaNoWriMo, the novel writing month where the goal is not perfection nor to create masterpieces, but to reach the respectable amount of 50,000 written words within the timespan of November month.
I know that I will most likely not succeed, as I am, after all, a rather slow and cranky writer, but after not participating the year of 2005 and regretting that I didn't try, I decided to give it a go this year, after a girl in VPFPH posted a forum post on the VPFPH-forum about NaNoWriMo.
I will have to start 4 days later than everyone else, however, this because
crimefish ♡ will be here on a visit at the beginning of the month (much love to her), but I will do my best, anyhow. *laughs*
As I will be rather absent November month, I will post a word count on my userinfo when the time comes. ♡
That way you can all laugh at how slow I am. *dork*

Interested in joining us Wrimos?
Perfect. If you join, we can support each other, have exhausting all-nighters, get high on caffeine and type until our hands fall off. If you write 30 days, calculations say if you write 1667 words a day, you will reach your goal of 50,000.
It's your decision what to write. Write fanfiction or write original, whatever you consider is fitting for something that will ultimately be the size of a smaller novel. This is not the time to obsess over the small things, this is the time to let your mind loose and dive into the crazy world of NaNoWriMo.
Rest assured, you will be writing a lot of crap, but don't worry - as long as your crap is written in words and not, uh, well... candyfloss, then you're doing good.
You can read a basic explanation
here, at NaNoWriMo's webpage.
★ So, why don't you join, too? We can support each other. ★

Anyway...
If nothing, I will most likely need at least a few nagging mothers telling me to stop slacking and start writing. xD ♡ I will actively keep a wordcount in my msn name, userinfo here on LJ, and, not to mention, my user at NaNoWriMo.org, that you can find under the same name as here - ccgensou. All in order to make sure I will keep spitting out words like never before.
And, feel free to ask questions or just... randomly say something. I love random. Random is nice. And dorky. Dorks have more fun. 8B
Wish me luck. ♡
