[So yeah. Remember Russia? How he 'killed' Latvia? And then was later taken in by Seifer and killed by America? The slightly creepy nation has kind of vanished after that.
He hasn't been taking a lot of things well.
To sum it up: no, he didn't mean to kill Latvia, and realizing Latvia died was what made him surrender to Seifer in the first place. And then getting clubbed unconscious and dragged off by America, only to have his neck snapped? Yeah, kinda added to it. Plus! He could no longer trace out Anastasia's frequency, so that meant while he was dead.... she went home. Hungary apparently left as well, which was better on her part but... considering how he was trying to keep tabs on her? Since he still 'ruled' over Hungary during his time? Yeah.
And he didn't get a chance to say goodbye.
The video clicks on and it's Russia, sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall. The feed is dim, so it's either not functioning properly or the lights are off. There's a mason jar on its side; empty. If anyone knew anything about what Russia was up to, it was one of the jars he was making potato vodka in.
He stares almost vacantly at a fragment as it hovers in front of him. His light reflects in the glow of it, and he looks.. tired. Possibly drunk, but that's only because his tolerance is lowered as a 'human'. And oddly enough... he's rather peaceful.
He mutters something in Russian ('it was almost like happiness back then') before he touches the fragment again. The feed times out.]

Drunk, because his 'vodka' attempt turned out to be way stronger than he thought, especially since it was left alone for a while. So yes. Also, his fragment... depending on who asks about it, he might show it, but it's of his first meeting with Lithuania when they were babby. There's a comic strip about it but I can't find it right now. .o. Still recovering from work but I will get to it!)
