my grandma died today
i was in the room with her when they took her off life support
i held her hand
i told her how much i loved her
and how happy i was that i moved here
i said i miss you already but i'll see you soon

honestly i couldn't be more at peace about this
she's the most perfect woman in the world and she can only be in an equally perfect place
it also helps that my aunt brought me extra-strength ginger beer and a pint of ben and jerry's

i love my family
and i love my friends
everyone's been so nice to me
they help me stay strong
remembering how tough my grandma was helps too
