Home again, home again
Well, I've finally recovered from the LJ spaz out and the flu! I spent the holiday in Connecticut with the dogs and the boy and it was a general good time. I had a dissapointing appointment with my cardiologist about my aorta from my Marfans, but that was the only real low point.
It was a long 14 hour drive yesterday, but at least we got out before more than 5 inches of snow had fallen! We were worried that the mazda rental wouldn't make it.
I had some wonderful cards and presents in the mail this morning! Thank you to everyone who sent something! Pinki, those earings were great!
I also had all of the cards I sent out to everyone in my mail box.....because I forgot to put postage on them!!! Gah!! *faceplam* Thats what I get for trips to the post office with the flu. So I'm sorry the cards never made it. Maybe I'll re-send them as Happy New Year cards?
And on that note, Happy New Year! I'll post pictures from CT and do some catch up reading this afternoon. Today I've got to go to work.
