It does get better

In the midst of a very stressful phase in my own life, I have heard about the many suicides in the last few months. Suicide prevention has been a cause close and dear to me for a very long time.  No one should ever have to feel that there is no other way to find relief but in something as permanent as death.

I don't have the words to say how much this grieves me, and also to see some of the horrible reactions to those who are experiencing such deep pain. But I do want to add my own small voice in saying "It gets better."

I saw this when I got online this morning. It made me smile -- these are the words I didn't know quite how to say...
