So, tomorrow morning between 10 and 11 I'm expected at the hospital, and on tuesday they will operate on me.Finally....
Funny thing is, I'm not nervous at this moment. I was about six or seven weeks ago, but now I'm ready for it. I also feel fine and have a much better condition, an` that makes a lot of difference. Going into an operation feeling like crap can't be good, but feeling fine is a whole other story.
After the operation I'll be on ICU for one night and if everything goes well the next day I'll go to the ward and recovery begins. I'll probably be in hospital for two weeks and then for the first time in five months of fluids and tube feeding I can have normal food again. \o/
I got some really nice plants for the garden from my husband and daughters for mothers day.
Pretty isn't it.
I've also had a wonderful day with my girlfriends on the 6th of May at Sandra's caravan.
It was a beautiful day, lovely weather and we were having a smoothie party. Sandra's birthday is the first of June (she'll turn 50) and Trude's birthday the 16th of May and they wanted to celebrate together before I was hospitalized.
