We had our cat Anoek sterilized last thursday. She has been such a good girl. The vet told us she would be sleepy and maybe wobbly after wards, but non of that. We got home, opened the carrier and out she ran. Not sleepy or wobbly at all but wide awake, ;-D
The vet we had to go to is located in a place called Bergen. We adopted Anoek from a shelter in Alkmaar, which is close to Bergen, and they (the shelter) have an agreement with the vet. When we got her she had already been vaccinated and treated against flies and she had been chipped. And we had to make an appointment with this vet for the sterilization at the age of eight months, and that was this month.
Since I don't have a drivers license Susanne was the driver and we took her to the vet together. We didn't want to drive there twice so we stayed in Bergen and entertained our selfs there. We had to bring her between eight and a quarter past eight in the morning, and pick her up after two in the afternoon. So we had quite some time to spent.
The weather wasn't the best we ever had, so when we decided to take a walk in the forest it started to rain. We wanted to go to the aquarium in Bergen aan zee,(Bergen by the sea) but when we got there we found out it was closed for the winter. We took a peak at the beach but it was to cold and windy. So we went to a restaurant for coffee for me and tea for Susanne, then we visited the stores, a bookstore, a spiritual shop, a bead shop and a quilt shop, bought some very pretty fabrics with cats on it. I get so greedy when I visit shops like that.;-D We also had lunch at a very nice restaurant, I had a club sandwich with salmon and bacon and Susanne had bread and croquettes. It was yummie.
Then it was time to pick Anoek up and we went home. We had a lovely day, but I don't think Anoek will agree to that.
Since it is 45 minutes past midnight it is my daughter Silvia's birthday, so
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
