My visit to the beautician was a success, I loved it. And I immediately made a new appointment for after the summer holidays. What also made it enjoyable is that I know the lady who gave me the beauty treatment. So I was immediately at ease. The only thing that wasn't so nice was the fact that my oesophagus was playing tricks on me again.
The silly thing isn't working the way it should, My food takes a long time going down to my stomach. I've been treated for it a long time ago, when I was still in my twenties (didn't like that) and it's better then it was. But when I lay down I sometimes get trouble swallowing and that doesn't feel so good. And I was laying down, fortunately she let me sit up more, that helped.
The scrap booking was also very nice. This was also a first time experience. I found some pictures of toad stools and us in the forrest and nice views. They were duplicates so I can use them to practice this first scrapbook thing.
On wednesday, when my husband had his weekly day of we went to the city Alkmaar, just for fun. It's a nice city with cute little shops and big ones too. I found two blouses that were on sale, and in a cheap bookstore I found three great books about patchwork, Also a hobby of mine. We again had a lovely day, the weather was nice,we had coffee and cake and a lovely lunch.
The bowling evening proved it again, I am the queen of the gutter, ha ha, all the balls I threw went straight into the gutter. At the end of the game I had 26 points.
The trip to Arnhem went well, we got my parents safe on the river boat. They were allowed on the boat at 8.00 p.m. and we were there at about 6.30 p.m. So we had diner at a Turkish restaurant, it was delicious.
