Spring.
Today my friend Trude and I went for a walk in the forest like park in the neighborhood. Oh, it was so lovely and springlike. (if you know what I mean.) The weather was wonderful, the birds were singing like crazy and all kind of plants were coming to bud.(hope its the right expression) It was just spring today. It is so wonderful to go for a walk in the forest, it's like charging your batteries.
We saw a bird of prey, (don't know what kind) a Robin, a Jay, a Great Tit, a Blackbird, a Magpie, a Wren and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. Well, not exactly one of each but it was great, especialy the Woodpecker. It was the second time ever that I saw one.
During lunch at the playground with the kids,we didn't go inside to eat our lunch but in the sunshine outside. The kids loved it and so did we. I hope we will have this lovely weather for a few more days.
