(no subject)
I get the feeling that I say this every August, but OMG the cicadas are SO LOUD this year! I was driving home tonight with the windows rolled up and the radio on, and I could still hear them buzzing in the trees all along the road. To add to the cacophony, a katydid has taken up residence on my patio. I've never seen it, but from the amount of noise it makes I assume it is roughly the size of a small pony. Do katydids swarm? Do I need to worry about an attack in the middle of the night???
