We've had a beautiful day - hot (95 F) but not humid, which is unusual for this time of year but very welcome. There was a very pleasant breeze and I sat on the porch and read during my lunch break. (I wouldn't have done if it weren't shaded, but the roof overhangs it so I enjoyed it. I wouldn't have been sitting on the back porch which is a deck with no roof or awning.
Here are a few photos from our outdoor church service this past Sunday evening, something we do once or twice a summer. The weather was pretty much like today and I was able to set my chair up under a tree, so it was really nice. I don't know what kind of tree it is. It looks like it has berries of some sort but they don't look edible to me and I don't remember blossoms, just leaves. The trees are all small because the building is only 12 years old and I think they planted all the trees at that time or a little after.
I'm also throwing in a photo of the flowers that grow outside our living room window. All I know is they're some kind of lily but I don't know what kind. They're perennials and they bloom every day for quite awhile. (Someone, when I described them, thought they might be day lilies but when I told her they bloom over and over again she said that's not it.)
