Uneventful (and an addendum)
Friday did nothing, Saturday saw LOTR: ROTK (flippin' FANTASTIC movie), Sunday did more nothing. Tired for various reasons.
Dropped Julia at the sitter's again this morning. She burst into tears the moment we walked in the door and would stop crying so I ended up just having to leave like that. I hate this.
Nothing big going on this week. Starting the South Beach Diet as soon as I can get to the store and buy SBD snacks, etc. Wish me luck.

Saturday night I spent the night at my mom's because I was going to see LOTR and after having drinks and dinner with a friend. Because I wanted to be able to stay out a bit and not worry about Julia, and I wanted to be nice to John and give him an evening off from babysitting, I had my mom watch Julia and then we both spent the night. Sunday morning my mom let me sleep in rather than go to church, and she took Julia with her. While they were gone the phone rang and I let the machine get it. This is the message I heard on the machine, from her boyfriend Mike:
"Hey, it's me. Just confirming dinner for tonight. 5pm, my house. It'll be you, me, Matt (his son), Lori (his sister), and mom. We're having tacos. So...uh...talk to you soon. Love you!"
And there's a second toothbrush in her toothbrush holder. Ugh.
I'm so not ready for this. Not even a little bit.
