Julia is at the new sitter's for the first time today. I dropped her off around 7:30 this morning. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night worrying about it, but as most things turn out, it was fine this morning. Didn't feel like crying, just a little sad that I had to leave her with a stranger. Ohh, I love me some fishnet stockings. They do make a girl feel sexy that's for sure. I feel my sexiest when I'm wearing a great pair of jeans with a high, high, high heeled pair of shoes. Throw a tank top in the mix and there's no stopping me.

The fishnets are definitely making me have a little pep in my step today. That and the mile-high shoes I paired with them. I, fortunately for everyone in the world, do NOT wear tank tops alone, but I agree that a pair of very high-heeled shoes with any kind of pant (especially jeans) is a glorious thing.

I've been waiting and waiting for you to tell me so.

I'm wearing a pair of super high black heels today with my wide-legged black pants. If it weren't for the bulky pink sweater I'm sure I'd feel super sexy. I don't like sweaters, but hey, at least it's pink. :)

...but unless they're skintight turtlenecks they made me look really bulky. This does not, of course, mean that I'm giving up my roomy gray cableknit fisherman's sweater that I wear at least once a week because it's so darn comfy.

The best thing about my outfit today is that it's completely and totally new! Even the shoes are semi-new, given to me by a generous coworker a few weeks ago.

I have a few cute sweaters but not many. It's hard living where I live b/c our winter is so short and mild, I don't like to buy very many "winter" clothes - it seems like a waste. But we're having a cold spell right now and picking out outfits every day is irritating me since I don't really have much to choose from.

Since it's currently a grand total of *20* degrees here...

I generally have to be bulkier than I'd like. But it's not that bad. I have some fantastic coats and jackets. Including a new red peacoat I ordered yesterday online. :)
