feeling very dramatic--can you tell?--and oh-so-very-happy to be here :-}
had a very nice trip overall. got to stop and see <3dogcircus> and T on the way--they scooped us up at the LA airport and whisked us away to Santa Monica for a few hours where we ate food and played carnival games and took goofy pics (which are so cute and entertaining, by the way!)
and then 15 HOURS on a HUGE airplane (two floors!) and..,now we're here!!
and i am so deliriously tired and definitely disoriented (trying to count Australian money in my overtired state this morning...damn funny to the woman at the pastry shop--but she was super friendly anyhow and she said i was "doing a good job":-) actually, everyone has been super friendly so far... hmmm. (and i must be on vacation 'cause i'm not even feeling suspicious of all the smiles...i'm just *smiling back* at everyone and making friends with all the cashiers in the little shops we go into...)
i can't sleep...just want to be here and awake for every second of it...
