The Arizona Anti-Immigration Law...
OK, for about a month now, the supposed "liberal media" has been moderately reporting on the very racist "Arizona Anti-Immigration Law".Well, apparently, this ranks really high on the "bad idea" list for a few reasons: 1. according to an article I read, a Sheriff in Arizona isn't really sure how the law should even be enforced in the state. 2. this makes America look really bad and racist because according to another article I read, they are apparently harassing both illegal immigrants with no citizenship papers and those who do show the police their papers and 3. according to CNN, the law is now destroying the state's economy because the foreign workers left Arizona when the bill became a law. One Arizona senator actually introduced a bill that said they could come back as "guest workers" to America. However, they wouldn't be American citizens (but would have to pay income taxes) and would have to leave the state once their jobs were done. Yes, because that makes a lot of sense. Wow, it sounds like a horrible idea to me, but what do you think about all of this?
