well, in trumpet class today we got some interesting advice from fred. while coaching an undergraduate on a charlier etude fred offered this gem:
"let the fingers be the rhythm"

now, with the above statement rewritten as an equality, we have:

fingers = rhythm

thus, the above equation opens up quite a number of possibilities:

- fingers is gonna get you
- i got fingers
- fingers nation
- fingers of the night
- mathematical algofingers

the converse also holds true:

- five-rhythm discount
- rhythmbang
- freddy got rhythmed
