My V-Day List
Seven-Course Meal:
lobster bisque
garlic marinated rib-eye steak
fried butterflied shrimp
pan-seared scallops with bacon in butter sauce
grilled asparagus in a balsamic vinegar and olive oil rub
freshly baked homemade blueberry bread
strawberries fosters flambe served with vanilla ice cream
list
granulated sugar
all purpose flour
lemon
1/2 cup milk
ice cream
Passion-Fruit Champagne Cocktail
1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) gin
1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) Alizé (passion-fruit liqueur)
6 tablespoons chilled dry champagne
Garnish: raspberries
In a champagne flute combine gin and liqueur and top off with champagne. Garnish drink with berries.
PASSION DAIQUIRI
1 1/2 ounces light rum
1/2 ounce passion-fruit juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
3 or 4 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass.
