Gossip Girl - 4x02 "Double Identity" Episode Response
My thoughts on the episode:
O.M.G. Episode was flippin' fantastic. Like, seriously. I admit, I was extremely worried and edgy the last few hours before it, because I found some serious anti-CB spoilers that are literally going to kill me and eat me for dinner. *shudders* But the SL of this episode was fantastic, and I couldn't be happier for how it turned out. I think that last scene made up for all of it. *clears throat to repeat it* "You bought me tickets?" "We don't need tickets." *limo pulls up* "I'm Chuck Bass. Ah, yes!!! God, I love it. Chuck Bass is freaking back & I am in LOVE w/ him. Hahaha. Wow. But, *clears throat* let us backtrack to the beginning of the episode. XD Haha. Okay, so, Milo isn't Dan's. Sad. Aww. *wanted him to be* Juliet & Nate are kinda cute, but kinda whatever to me tbh. lol. I mean, I really want Dan w/ Serena, but I heard that wasn't going to happen, so...I'm not holding my breath. DV are cute too, though I heard they won't last very long. XD *shakes head* Tragic. *is clearly not too affected by this* lol. It's sad that Serena came back to no one! *frowns* Very sad. She was so psyched to tell them which one she'd chosen. *sigh* And omg. Who the heck is Juliet with? She's clearly not Gossip Girl - as rumors told us already *rolls eyes at too much knowledge* XD - but, maan. I have no clue who she could be working with. *shakes head* Not Georgina I wouldn't think. Though...maybe Georgina & Juliet are working with the same person??? *sighs* I'm afraid it's too soon to tell. lol. As always. S looking for Chuck! Omg. I loved the sibling love. She looked like she was about to cry for a minute when she learned Chuck might be dead. And then he just shut the door in her face?! What was that?! Dang, how I would have killed for CB to just run off like Eva thought they would. She knew without even having to really get an answer to her question...it was all there in the reappearance of Serena & how Blair ran towards Chuck. *sigh* Speaking of, that scene was freaking EMOTIONAL. I can't believe she told him she didn't love him anymore. *shudders* They both looked like they were gonna cry so terribly. I'm surprised Blair didn't. Her reaction when she first learned about Chuck getting shot & the engagement ring and all that? Vicious. *shudders* Of course, right afterwards she had to go into "I hate Chuck" mode. *rolls eyes* Whatever. Everything else in her little speech proved she didn't, but maaaaaan, I could just see how it was torturing him. Wow. I am not looking forward to how he tortures her in the near future, but I'm hoping it'll end up with them together ASAP. ;) I kinda like Eva for her innocence, like Chuck does. But I don't want him with her, so they're just whatever until Blair can forgive & forget. *shakes head* Wow. Intense episode. I loved it. Poor S. But, as always, I am rooting for CB! XD The next promo shows one thing that we always always knew. Blair's jealousy is never sufficiently restrained. Bye-bye, Eva! *waves to her as she falls off cliff* *gasps* *didn't mean to do that so...drastically* *runs away* lol.
