Where should we start?

Wednesday night was hockey night in Hartford. After opening night a few weeks earlier, this was out 1st game in nearly a few weeks; it was good to be back. So, we got there just in time for the game as Derek and I both needed to get tickets. Finally after getting our tickets we made it inside and raced to our opposite sections of the arena.

We jumped out to a quick 3-1 lead, but we gave the lead away as the P-Bruins stormed back and won the game 4-3.

A few pix from the game:

Since I haven't seen Ally in a month and she wanted to see me, we went to the movies and saw, "Elizabeth." It was quite interesting since I didn't know a whole lot about the England. It was a good night and had a good time.

After the movies, I went home to Derek and watched the end of Grey's Anatomy, which was interesting to say the least.

Friday night was another hockey night. We wanted to arrive their earlier, but unfortunately that didn't happen as we hit a ton of traffic heading into Hartford. We got there a little around 6:45 so we missed warmups again and bascially just went to our sections.

As for the game, it was a bascially boring game untill the end of the 3rd period into the OT/shootout. The Pack were about 51 seconds away from their 1st home win of the season, but the Falcon player riffled a shot past Chris Holt that he'd like to have back. We had several chances in OT, including a powerplay, but didn't capatilize on the chances. We dominated the shootout as we outscored the Falcons 3-0 and Chris Holt backstopped our way to a victory.

After the game we just came home to relax for awhile, before heading off to bed.

Saturday morning I went over to Wal-Mart in Hartford to pick up a few things and then came home to relax for a bit/clean. After lunch, Derek and I headed out to do a bunch of stuff. First, we checked out the Halloween stores to see what sorts of decorations and add-ons to our costumes we could find, but most of the stores were sparse. We also headed up Best Buy as Derek wanted to buy a few CD's and look around.

Afterwards, we headed home and relaxed before heading out for the night. Instead of cooking and dining out, we ordered takeout, which took forever, but once we got it, it was yummy. In between getting ready, I watched a  little bit of the Red Bulls-Revs playoff game. I DVR'd the rest so I could watch the end, but I deleted upon knowing how they did, freakin tie.

We were deciding where or what we wanted to go. Fortunately, the weather did clear and we ready to go out. We checked the calendars and saw there wasn't much going on in Hartford so we hit up Rookie's Sports Bar in Cromwell and crashed their Halloween bash hosted by Don Steele of WCCC 106.9.

It was a good time as we chatted, drank, looked at other costumes and bascially just had a good time.
