ashley(neau)has inspired my interest in handspinning. My in-laws(yes, I am still living with them) have an antique spindle(or whatever you call it). It looks very old and has missing parts I'm sure. I thought maybe if I learned to handspin and liked it, maybe I could research restoring it and trying to spin on it. this is a very ambitious thought, I know. I have been trying to look on line for classes on handspinning in this state but no luck..any suggestions?
But I did find a class at ac moore on crocheting which I would also like to learn so that I can make some cool skull caps. It is tomorrow and I found it on their website, the class is $10 which seems very reasonable(plus materials of course.
And...I really need to learn how to post pictures so I can have a journal of my completed projects.
