I saw lots of dogs this weekend and it almost always made me want to cry.
My first weekend of the semester was really fun. Jamie and I went to Richmond Friday night to see Amanda and her boyfriend Pat. They bought an African Pygmy Hedgehog, so I pretty HAD to go and see it. I learned so much about hedgehogs and now we really want to get one, too. Anyway, the four of us had some misadventures trying to get to the Fan District by bus, but we got there eventually and did a little bar-hopping. I was still a little sick, so I think the alcohol got to me faster. Hey, I've been building up a tolerance! There were mostly really old dudes at the bars, but one guy tried to steal my money and another guy in a red turtleneck and a blue Hard Rock Amsterdam t-shirt tried to buy me a drink. He was classy. Jamie and I had to sleep in Pat's dorm room (an all-boys dorm) while he and Amanda slept in her dorm room. We were told to lock the door and not talk to his Azerbhaijanian (no idea how to spell that) RA. I had a lot of fun, though, and I really hope we go visit them more this semester. I hope they get married, too, hehe.
Jared came to visit Saturday night to Monday morning because he didn't have work or class. I finally watched all of The Big Lebowski. Most of Sunday was spent hanging out and reading at Hyperion, eating Chinese food, and watching TV. It was fun. More people should visit me when they have the chance. *wink* *hint*
Ew, I have over 2 hours of work left. I hate Tuesdays and Thursdays because I sit through 3 classes and go straight to work. I need to eat sometime, damn it.
Hopefully, I'll be online from my apartment soon. My school makes us download this program to use the internet and it's not working out for me. I am making it my business to harass the computer help desk all week, though.
It's also supposed to snow all this week.
