Ask me my opinion on any character from any fandom, and I will say. [Grammar bitch: 'Say' what? :P] If I do not know the fandom, I will say what I think I know based on fannish osmosis.
Anyway... yeah, this one's much easier. I love the guy, completely and totally. He's like... so devoted. In the movie... meh, I guess he was okay, and really hawt, but that's as far as the character went. Hawt, devoted. In Fire From Heaven, though, he was even better: man-of-few-words type because he doesn't know what to say, and sort of possessive of Alexander, too, which made him pretty cool.
Also, as in my icon, he's always just longing for Alexander and not getting any (both meanings intended)... Alexander gets married, Alexander wants to be all "pure", etc. And I feel really sorry for him.
I also think of him, weirdly, as almost the same exact character as Horatio from Hamlet. Devoted, of few words, etc. XP
...anyway, have you seen the movie? (I'm not sure if the movie that recently came out is the same one as in the theaters! They skipped a whole love scene, but then there was another scene where they were very overtly together... so it might not be the right one, or it might be as much as we're gonna get... :O)
Ah, well. Close enough. You knew who I was talking about.
but that's as far as the character went. Hawt, devoted. I have a strong urge to add in to the end "to me" Is Fire From Heaven another Alexander movie? *makes mental note*
I shall repeat that that icon scares scared me. When I first saw it I thought it was a girl in a horror movie who had either just seen a ghost of her lover/ her lover had just died.
*hides behind her ice cream bowl* um...no? i want to though. i really do. (supposedly the one that came out is the "Director's Cut"...don't know if that's better or worse)
Meh? He's kind of a non-character for me. I don't really care about him. I do remember liking when he and Legolas became friends in the books instead of hating each other, though.

Hah, Hephaistion is a girl in a horror movie. Nah, this is when Alexander has just married Roxane and Hephaistion's being all sad.
Ask me about a character from a fandom you know about!
