Such a good week
This week has been so good that I just had to post about it. And also because this is a place pretty much nobody reads, so I can say practically anything I want.
So on Tuesday Janessa came to Milwaukee from Brooklyn (Wisconsin, not New York). She originally planned to go to bowling, drive back home Wednesday, then come back Thursday for kickball and party at Katie's. Janessa did throw out an idea, kind of jokingly, that she could find places to stay so she didn't have to drive back. Me being the awesome guy I am found places to stay for her so she didn't have to drive around...or so I could see her more. So Tuesday we met up with Jason, Paul and Joelle and played catch before all of us and Ben went bowling. That was just an amazing time there. I made a bet with Joelle that if she beat me, I'd pay for her V's and vice versa. I then made a bet with Jason that if I won, he'd pay for the entire summer of V's and if he won, I had to make a move on Janessa. I was planning on that already, so the bet with Jason was really just one-sided. I "lost" both bets. Afterwards we went to V's and got some food. So after V's Janessa and I come back to my house and watch MTV until roughly 4 am before deciding to go to bed. I said I was going to sleep in my bed and she could choose either the fouton or sleep next to me (I knew she'd choose the bed). So while I was nervous as all hell, I kind of chickened out and didn't make a move before falling asleep. Then I was woken up from some noise in the hall and decided to go for it...with the arm around her. Was I nervous as fuck? Yes. Outcome: she moved into it. YES!!!
We finally decided to move around and get something accomplished. Went to Applebees for lunch, then to Mayfair to walk around and whatnot. After the mall we came back to my house and watched a Ocean's Twelve. Yeah, we were snuggling and whatnot throughout and I was sooooo fucking happy, but heart still racing at like 100 mph. Then, I finally decided to just fuck it...and went in for a kiss. I must say that for me, I was booming with confidence...which is pretty unusual for me with a girl that I like. But with Janessa it was completely different. She's an amazing girl. We then went to see Knocked Up with Katie and Ryan (I had already seen this movie, but wanted to do something fun with Janessa). After the movie we went to Pizza Shuttle, which was fun. I originally planned on going home and sleeping there while Janessa went to Katie's to sleep...but decided to fuck it and stay at Katie's too. Great decision as I got to spend the night with Janessa again.
So Thursday morning we all, including Katie and Ryan, wake up at like 11:30 and they both went upstairs while Janessa and I stayed downstairs. So the two of us are talking and whatnot and I say to her "So, you like me. And I really like you. So why don't we make this official and will you be my girlfriend?" Needless to say, she said yes...so I now have a girlfriend! After going back to my place, we watched the movie Alpha Dog and some tv before playing kickball with our friends. After kickball we went to Katie's for a small party where a loooot of fun happened that I don't really feel like explaining. Josh kept saying stuff like "you two need to stop with all the cuteness over there."
It's sad that she had to go back home, but I am not going to dwell on it. We had an amazing three days together and I am happy with that and looking forward to more good days to come.
