For those of you who don't know, I moved to South Carolina. I have been here a year next month. I now work for a pharmaceutical company after a couple short stints in "corporate America", being Chase and Verizon Wireless. I have found that working for smaller companies fit me much better because I feel like I am actually making a difference daily rather than just being a cog or a number or a drone. I have been with the company for less than 6 months and I have moved up the chain from customer service advocate to customer service manaager and I have just taken on the roles of purchasing manager and will soon be taking over the claims processing division of the company (I have to build it first).
I'm living in North Charleston, which is just a few miles up the "I" (Interstate 26) from the historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. A beautiful, historical city that is slowly stealing my heart. Most of my current time however, has been taken up by work or searching for my next apartment which, I think has come to an end hopefully. Right now, I have a deposit down on one place and I have a second (which is much, much nicer) in the pipeline and should find out this week if I can move there.
More will come as time allows but for now I must get ready for work. Everyone have a good Monday.
