The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly!
The Good - my order from Dharma came today. I've washed and ironed enough silk for Donal's banner and some extra to practice on. He has the frame put together, although when I looked at it this afternoon, it seemed like it needs more bracing. (Advice gratefully accepted - this is our first time doing this!)
The Bad - they're starting the road work on our side street. They blocked off the our block and put up detour signs. This afternoon, Richard's school bus had to turn around and he said the driver was not happy! You have to respect those school bus drivers - I would not want to try to turn one of those monsters around!
The Ugly - next to the back hoe they put in the corner of our yard is now a porta-potty. Yech. Since we are on the corner facing the other street, it's in our back yard. I feel for the neighbor behind us - it's right at the end of her driveway! Richard said they should have put it in the yard of the woman who pushed so hard for this project. We were against it.
