Merry Christmas!
I'll be essentially out of touch for several days. We'll be at my brother's and only have dial-up. The boys and I hope to leave tomorrow morning and Jeb will drive out separately when he can. He'd planned to take all week off, but they have a crunch deadline of the end of the year and one of the men in his office died suddenly last week, making them really short-handed. Now, they've scheduled a meeting for Monday afternoon!
We're still wrapping presents and I still have three to get something for. I finally finshed the pillow for my nephew. It took three times as long as the one I made for his brother last year. I'll post pictures after we get back. (Counts for Stash!)
The boys have been told to pack their clothes (yeah, right). I've got food to pack. My brother only has on hand what he uses, otherwise it would go bad before we go out again. I got all fresh spices right before Thanksgiving. We're still clearing out old food that my mother bought before she became unable to cook. At least I won't have to start cooking as soon as we get there, like I did for Thanksgiving.
I'm tired, behind, stressed. Having a hard time getting into the Christmas Spirit. At least I can give Charlie a couple of shifts driving tomorrow. But I won't be able to sleep.
