well quite a bit has happend since this weekend.
Saturday night kinda had a party, but not a huge turnout. I supposed it was good that it was low key, but a lot of people who said they were going to show up never did. After spending 80 bucks on beer and vodka, i still have half left. Hopefully somtime next month i will be having a get together, or ill just bring it to newark with me. There is a video of the night, the link is in my profile.
I forgot to mention one huge thing on my last entry. In 35 days I am going to see Billy Joel! ITs going to be 3 other people from brusters, and its going to amazing. Good people and a good performer. I simply cannot wait.
An update on Mount Lax. Tommorow i need to fill out some paperwork for the district. I need to goto the police station and get fingerprinted and criminal backround check, standard for all district employees. So that should be fun.
I am invited to go down to UD for a meeting with the head lax coach there with Coach Phil, because we are getting a bunch of free equitment from them. I really want to go, but I'm not sure if I can with work scheduled at 3. Oh well.
The season starts next wed. thats less than a freakin week. I am so pumped, although i would almost rather be playing than coaching.
I suppose the biggest and most exciting news of the season thus far is.... One of our first scrimmages is against Tatnall. THat might not seem like much at a first glance... But my brother is the JV coach at Tatnall this year. Therefore its brother on brother coaching. I never had the honor of playing him considering we played for the same school, and he graduated before i got in. Although he would have crushed me. And we never played sallies when he coached JV for them, but we didnt even have a JV then, so still wouldnt have played him.
I am going to be honest. He will probably win this first time matchup, but thats only because tatnall kids start playing lacrosse at like age 2, and they are i think favored to win or be a contender for state champs. But it will be fun regardless.
In conclusion, i cannot wait for next week.
