Another update from the white chick.

Yeah Yeah YEAH I know I havent updated since like, before christmas. but that doesnt mean I dont think about it. I do. I'll be on the shitter like hmmm maybe I should update my lj, and as we know all the thoughts on the shitter usually go down it once you flush. *oops*

Lets see, I finally told everyone that I'm pregnant. Once I heard the heartbeat I basicly got it in my head that yes, this is real. Might as well face it with a smile. I dont want to have a kid that i resent for the rest of my life. he/she didn't do it. all they asked for is life.... and its my job to give it to them. (seeing how i'm the one who obviously didnt know when to close my legs eh)

My knee hurts. I have a scratch on it, I have NO idea where it came from. but I figured I'd share.

I've been thinking. A lot about how things in this world work. Like I've been stuck in a rather gay sitchuation I dont care to speak on. but as I sit here all bored during the days, I wonder about shit. Like. Ok back in the day there were REAL fucking people out there, people who did anything they could think of to make the world better, there were wars, there were hippies, there were revolutions, there was a lot of fighting for principals, reguardless of of where yo stand on any of em, you have to respect all the efforts (some as mondaine as they were) that were put forth to make a difference.

Then you had the trendy scenes that we know and love (...or not) today. I dont know which came first, but they all had their time in the sun...some more known then others...whatever. Punk scene, which sadly the youth of today tries to keep alive, its sad when you have to scrape the bottom of the 80's legacy barrel for a purpose. that i think spawned origionally from the hippies, a lot of sub cultures did like i think punk mainly came from the hippies who were more coked out and into fucking anything that walked, the ones that traveled, the ones that...well you get it. The raver scene, a more recent development, some scenes i know of and cant even fucking name. just... wow all these subcultures we have today that sadly are dying out. it totally makes me sad, when i look at whats going on. I mean you cant flip a station on the radio with out hearing "Shake that ass bitch" or "Ima freak your ass on the down low" etc etc.

Back in the day, as shitty as the sound of music was, (some of it a lot i like) People put feelings into it, and as we all know. Music = life. Your whole outlook is changed by music. One great rock show CAN change the world, one great song, a line even, a beat...anything that you feeeeeeel. All we have today is piles and piles of old withered down bullshit. This is where we get our inspiration from? Yeah I really want my seed of the future getting his/her great inspiration on life from Fiddy cents greatest hits.

Rap itself is not bad, there are artists out there who put every fucking peice of blood sweat and their souls into their albums, 2pac was only one i can think of on the top of my head tho. Mostly anyone who knows how to form a rhyme no matter what the content can make it big and be our 'inspiration'

why do we have 13 year old girls going out and getting pregnant by 30 year old men? why are the skirts getting shorter, the pants getting baggier, and the iq's getting lower? Because all the greatness has came and died. People stopped seeing its beauty. A hippie playing on the street corner trying to change the world with his song. Gone. A TRUE punk that would do nothing short of try to change the world any way he could. Raver kids who (with out the drugs even) just want to make people happy. The list go's on. and ON. phases will continue to come, but in my eyes its all dead. All were left with now is wishes to be born at an earlier age just to experience a little of what our parents had.

Our children? Unless another revolution happens fast....the inspiration is gone.

yeah... I really did just write that as i was thinking about it. Its just been on my mind. I dont understand why and how it happened....but the music DID die. and we killed it.
