Well, that was action-packed. There were about fifteen of us in the group interview and maybe seven jobs. Actually, I was expecting individual interviews, but no! Haha, that's the first group interview I've ever done. It was pretty fun. There was a questionnaire each, along the lines of "why do you want to work for Odeon?", and roleplay things where we showed what we'd do when faced with a complaint, and also an actual mass interview part where a few certain people were doing all the talking. One of them was me, which I think is a good thing?
The guy was talking about how cinema does well in recessions, but that didn't stop them from offering the absolute rock-bottom minimum wage. Then again, when umpteen billion people are all looking for jobs at once they can offer what they damn well please, and it's still a whole lot better than nothing.
So, uh, if I get a phone call tonight or tomorrow, then I've got the job! And if I get a letter in a few days, then... I haven't. I'm going to hold out until midnight tonight, I think, and wake up early tomorrow in case they call then. Aaaah this is frightening.
