I watched the movie MirrorMask last night, which, by the way, is living proof that almost none of Lady Gaga's outfits are original...

And then I had a weird dream. It was kinda creepy. In the dream there were two children that were turned by some sort of magic spell into these sort of demon things that couldn't move. In the dream, these two children were able to hear words spoken directly by the saints (as in, yes, the traditional Catholic saints), and when the spell was put on them they were unable to hear these words.
I was somehow to remedy this situation, working on a team of people on a small submarine. It was very strange...I don't remember a clear narrative because the dream was a bit fuzzy but there were a ton of really random scenes and images that I remember. I was not in charge of the mission, I was working under this guy who ran the submarine, who was older, and really nice. The rooms of the submarine were un-submarine-like, very large, spacious, and laid out like a house. There was an uncooperative person who had their own room in the submarine, a room that was pretty cluttered and where there was a gap under the door that they had stuffed a bag of peanuts to fill.
Then there was a very large room and the two children had been placed in this room where someone was caring for them.
At one point I remember coming up out of the top of the submarine...all you could see above the water was a small platform. We were in a river, and there was something near the shore.
I really don't remember much coherent about this dream...it was just really long and involved and cool. I wish I were more artistic because I remember vivid color imagery from many of the scenes...the images were more interesting than the plot.
For example, the large room in the submarine had a bed with a wooden frame, and the head of the bed was placed in front of the hearth of an inactive fireplace. I remember the color of the finish on the bed; it was like the newly refinished wooden screen door at my parents' house. The floor was hardwood and there was a pretty light attached to the ceiling. There was a second part of the room, clearly divided in half by the floor, walls, and ceiling changing patterns, but with no divider. This part was darker and had more furniture in it...a lot of comfortable sofas. The two children were placed lying on their backs in a large basket, side-by-side, offset somewhat, and their heads at opposite ends of the basket.
