Two Weird Dreams
I had two really weird dreams last night.
In the first, I was looking out out over a river. The river had a lion, several moose, and two elephants swimming in it. They all had wings and could fly! The wings were large and fleshy and, in the case of the lion and moose, covered in fur. They were all very graceful flyers. Eventually they all flew away and a group of us went out into the river and were wading in the shallower parts. One of my friends went out into the river...and suddenly the elephants came back and for some reason they went after my friend and tried to trample him. He was rolling around in the shallow part of the river but he got bruised very badly by elephants several times. We pulled him out of the river and we thought he was dead...he was lifeless and not moving.
There was a doctor present and the doctor pronounced him dead. We looked at him for maybe about 10 seconds...and suddenly he sprung back to life. He was really shaken up and looked like he felt terrible but we were really glad that he was still alive.

The other dream was strange. I was in a cult that lived off in some weird area, it was like, a somewhat remote area just outside a large town / small city. The town / city was mostly made out of brick and had a somewhat southern feel to it but also felt a bit like parts of PA. One of my friends and I were in the cult and trying to infiltrate it to steal this item they had, because it was an item that could be used to damage things, it was too powerful. I ran into my friend and we knew that it was the day we would steal the item and escape with it.
We ran into an elderly woman carrying a door, and we knew we needed to steal her door. We wanted to knock her out but we were worried for her health and didn't want to harm her. We ended up coming up behind her and pushing her over very gently. We took the door from her and also took off this hood / veil (besides that our outfits were identical) so that from a distance one of us would look like her. I put on the veil and carried the door and my friend and I went to this church-like building that was locked. He had a key.
We went inside, and climbed to the top. It started out with a normal staircase. Then it got to be a smaller room, square shaped, with the staircase spiraling up around the outside. It was hard to carry the door up the staircase but we just kept doing it. Eventually we got to the top and it spiralled into the middle of the room and there was a metal mesh staircase leading up to a trapdoor. We opened this and it was hard to fit the door we were carrying through the trap door but we did it. In the top room was a strange little room, like a little library, with a railing around the middle of the room which had the trap door, and bookshelves around the edges. There was a skylight and it was quite bright.
There was a magic pool in the library that if you dipped a normal book into it, it would make the book into a magic book. Although it was not the main reason we had come up here (we needed to attach the door to a cabinet in order to steal / take this item that was inside it), I was delighted to find the magic pool. I had my backpack on me and I opened it up and there were several books inside, and also a book map of the U.S. I dipped everything into the pool and the books all became magic books!
I was really excited...but I put them back to read later. I remember looking forward to the surprises when I'd get home, of having all these magic books, and not knowing what would be in them until I got home. I particularly wondered how the magic book map would work.
Then I woke up!
