Jean Luc Picard twice in one week!

Last night I had a bizarre dream...in it, there was an alien colony that had set up on an island that was part of the outer banks, North Carolina. I went to it, and Jean Luc Picard was there...and Worf was there too but Worf had been posessed by the aliens, and was acting as a spokesperson for them. The aliens informed us (through Worf) that the aliens wanted humans to leave the island, and the atmosphere over the island would be made toxic to humans and that we must leave ASAP or else we would be poisoned.

People started rushing into this ship, in order to leave. Most people were getting away safely, but there was an ornery child who rushed out the door because he didn't want to leave. He was about 8 years old. The atmosphere was starting to become toxic outdoors and people could not breathe easily...but the kid had run far away and his parents were too scared to get him. I decided I wanted to run after him. I quickly caught up with him but he was struggling. I picked him up and was holding him upside down and trying to move back to the ship...I was still breathing well but it was hard to struggle with the kid. Other people were still piling into the ship. The kid reached out and grabbed someone else and tried to wrench himself free but I got him back into the ship. It was pretty intense.

I had another dream last night too. It involved a weird stew or sauce that had a very strange flavor and had some weird effect. The stew was red, like tomato sauce, and had a flavor that was mildly unpleasant but not revulsive, and totally unfamiliar. The last person who had eaten the stew had had their back yard taken over by the strange portals that made anything disappear that went into them. The government had come to investigate the portals, but had decided that they didn't know anything about them. People were trying to get me to eat the food, but I didn't want to. I said that I liked my yard and the last person to eat the stew had lost their back yard after eating it...and I wanted to keep my back yard.

Weird? Weird.
