... twists and turns aplenty dead ahead!
We've got quite a few pieces to post to set the stage for our double-barrelled Gen BB entry, so we'll try to spread them out over the summer, both so as to avoid spamming you and to prolong the fun. But I wanted to go ahead and get this one up now.

“And ever since I can remember, Dad was teaching us ASL while insisting we spoke out loud. With me, it was a demand. Think he even said once he didn’t want to raise a cripple, like not speaking was some kind of hideous deformity.”

This sounds like a plot bunny, if you ask me. Gosh, it would be super awesome if Dean was like Shining, from the rp I'm in.

We'll have to see where the muses go, but we'll take the suggestion under advisement. Thanks for reading! :)

The character I was playing, Shining Armour, is Autistic and nonspeaking. He also happens to be a strong empath, and incredibly protective, much like another older brother. He has telekinesis, but how could Dean get that?... Idea!

A lot of Michael's Arch-angelic abilities are similar to Shining's abilities...

I have wanted to borrow the Jinchuuriki concept from Naruto for SPN... With Michael and Dean...

Btw, if I (Hester) seemed dishonest, it was an AU rp where three important characters were autistic. Hey, would you like to see the short fics I've written on this plot bunny? Sorry if I'm being bothersome.

So, I read this series for the first time- maybe a year ago? I started rereading it a few weeks ago, and in that time I interviewed for a job, got a job, and moved to Texas from out of state (I live in Austin now). I studied history, and found the bits of Texas history (and culture, geography, etc.) fascinating even when it felt a bit further removed. Guess I'll get a closer look now :)

Welcome, welcome! :D Since you're in Austin, the Bullock Museum would be a great place to start exploring.
