Going home tomorrow!
All I did today was monkey work. I had real work to do but the PM needed help so I did her monkey work. I think I will start the process to go live tomorrow, as I have all the final data now. Hurrah! I get to work from home next week, so that makes life SO MUCH better. They changed my flights home next month so I get a four hour layover in Denver now. I can't describe how much that lacks.
My Bose headphones cracked, just like they did last time. As these are older than a year old, I have to go buy another pair. I called to check the warranty and they said they'll discount the new pair to $100, which was good news. It really annoys me how these don't seem to last very well, but I use them so often, I suppose they are a necessary expense for business. I hope they work ok on the airplane tomorrow.
I have much telly to watch when I get home. Especially looking forward to BSG. I've been careful to avoid spoiling the last cylon and I think I might get to find out this eppie. I enjoyed this week's Leverage and also liked Fringe well enough. Burn Notice starts up again tomorrow.
So I should now focus on trying to pack my normal things with the five pounds of sugar free candy for my father (Russell Stovers outlet!) and the gift of a box of smoked salmon from my PM. It'g going to be tight. Oh, and calling my mum for her birthday. I called my brother to make sure he remembered and brought him up to date with Dad's cancer, in case he hadn't been hearing the stories.
