I love DWM, I really do. Although these days, I tend to read it from about the middle to the end first, because that's the part that has all the video, book and audio reviews and the "Fact of Fiction" section. I'm not so enthusiastic when it comes to reading the stuff about the current series.
But I digress. What I'm moaning about is this.
The summary for Closing Time states (and I'm paraphrasing) that the Doctor goes to visit Craig in the last days of his life (or on the day before he - the Doctor - dies.)
WE ALL KNOW THAT MATT SMITH HAS BEEN SEEN ON SET FILMING THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!!!
And I think we also all know that there's no way in hell that the BBC is going to let Steven Moffat kill off one of their biggest cash cows.
Is there really anyone out there who still believes that Eleven is actually going to die in episode 13?
I know that in some stories, it's the HOW and the WHY rather than the WHAT or WHO, that's important - and clearly that's the case here.
But can we please stop pretending the Doctor is in any actual danger of being killed off?
