Until your Resting here with me
So way back in February nyxocity wrote a fanfic cross over that was CWRPS/ Quantum leap. (for those of you who don't know what Quantum leap is.)
So the story is called Until you're resting here with me and it's brilliant even if you're not a fan of Quantum leap go check it out. I loved the show back in the day and i really, really enjoyed the story. Not that Nyx has ever steered me wrong before. Her But then my homework was never quite like this was the first RPS i ever read and liked. although it may have lost its status as my favourite in place of this one.
But reading it i thought it would be super simple to make a quantum leap style vid using clips from Supernatural because they have had so many fake identities.
Turns out its not so easy. The thing about the story is that its just Jensen on his own leaping from person to person to fix things just like Dr Sam Beckett in the show. Which means no Jared. Well not until Jensen gets to the point where he meets up with him. And almost all the shots of them as firemen and security guys and exterminators are double shots that include Jared.
Also Real Life issues got in the way. But Finally (so long as YOutube doesn't kick it.) here it is in all it's glory.
So i just used a clip of the start of quantum leap from youtube and used the stuff i could like the music. I had to redo the talking so that it said Dr Jensen Ackles instead of Dr Sam Beckett and there was no way i was letting you awesome people hear my voice. Luckily reapertownusa came to my rescue. That's her lovely voice at the start.
I used clips from Supernatural, Smallville, Dark Angel, Blonde and s clip from JIBcon. The Chad Michael Murray clips are from ONe Tree Hill (at least i think they are i don't watch it and i got the clips from youtube.)
It was fun most of the time. figuring out how to make the leaping effect was a challenge. I probably spent twice as long as needed working on that. but it was worth it.
