So Im wondering who i should thank for inventing spider solitaire. It's like the ultimate in procrastination tools because its a no brainer and suddenly instead of writing your Big bang draft I've won 7 hands of solitaire and its dark out. Anyone want to throw ideas at me to help me get off my procrastinating ass and get my BB done?
On an other note I'm on a lose weight kick again. I'm not exactly improving my diet yet though i did go shopping two weeks ago and fill the fridge with vegetables. This week i think i will be cleaning out my fridge and throwing away all the rotting vegetables that didn't get cooked. I hate cooking. I mean if i cooked awesome food that made me orgasm just from tasting it i might cook more often. But the thing is thanks to living in a house with teenagers who have no clue about hygiene or respect for the whole other people's stuff shared property kind of Deal ( and yes i am aware of the irony of it totally being my own fault for raising them that way but im still looking forward to Grandmothers revenge anyway.)
Well the point is for me to cook i need to...
- do it early enough. because realizing at 7pm that i should probably feed the underlings doesn't bode well for the roast defrosting in the fridge.
- To cook i need clean bench space and enough utensils/ cooking instruments. So once i have cleaned the benches and washed dishes i really cant be assed to cook too.
- Healthy food is expensive
- My kids eat all of my diet food. Yes including the diet soup packets that i had. they are like termites in a wood pile when around food. Or turkeys that are just too stupid to know that they should stop eating. I'm surprised no one has lost fingers yet!
- I prefer quick and easy. and by that i mean COOKING not *other things* get your minds out of the gutter!
So maybe that should be like my plan for the rest of the month to try and cook meals and not eat too much junk. or chocolate. Or chips. Or fatty food like Mcdonalds or fries.
