I officially hand in my badge and gouge out my ears...
So there was this Metallica concert. Tickets were going on sale three months before the band was even going to be in the country but it had been a long time since i had seen them live and i was really looking forward to seeing them.
I scrimped and saved and awesomely scraped together the $165 for the ticket and paid it to my mom so I could use her Credit card to purchase the ticket in the Visa pre - sales. It meant that the ticket was going to be posted to my moms but i had two weeks collect it.
Everything was going smoothly. RL wasn't so much but my brain wasn't full of the droning buzz of nothingness, School was coming together things were looking up.
So i get up one morning and go on Facebook because my stupid class had a group on there and it was the only way i had of keeping track of assignments etc. Thats when i notice one of my friends updates from that morning. "Metallica were awesome last night"
I almost died... I FUCKING FORGOT TO GO TO THE CONCERT!
seriously FML! My favourite band in the whole wide world and i fucking just forget to go.
I couldnt even try and get another ticket coz i didnt have the money. not that it mattered because the remaining concerts were sold out anyway.
So to all my Flisters Just remember (coz i dont) that i do still care even if i dont remember to comment or post.
