Hey everyone,
I'm back or rather I have a plugged in working pc with windows 7, the internet, my email and word oh and a network connection to my music. Other than that I'm a little bit sparse on everything else. I intend to transfer everything that I had saved, so anything that I had written last year really, my last save was January. I will then be transferring from the net everything ficwise that I have posted since then in an attempt to rebuild up my own collection. There is quite a lot that I have to rewrite up, which probably won't happen until after Christmas as I have exams in December and will be rather busy at work, the run-up to Christmas and all, at least I don't have to worry about Christmas shopping.
I will be taking part in NaNo again this year, and despite my coursework due and everything else I intend to complete it this year. I have four different ideas but it seems that one is coming together in my mind quicker than the others so that is probably the one I will go for.
I also went to see Doctor Who Live on Saturday and all I can say is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. Anyone who has the opportunity to go should take it. We had really good seats, the first three in an row in the stalls(ish things). We were quite far back (Row J), but we had a perfect view of the stage and the monsters walked right by us. I wanted to mug a Judoon for his boots but my mother wouldn't let me, it was so unfair. Although the show itself was great two of my favourite bits were in actual fact the audience, a cyberman stopped and turned to this guy and as soon as he realised it was there he shut his eyes as if to say get it over with, or your not really here. The other was a little boy sitting behind my mum, the Judoon came to categorise him and it was just the look he gave him, such a kiddie look the you think your so great but your not one, he was totally unimpressed by the Judoon interacting with him. There was also another little boy in my row he couldn't have eve been five, but he was dressed as the eleventh doctor and at one point it had gone rather quiet and all I could hear was this little kid shouting 'You're evil', it was so precious.
I came away with half the merchandise stall, or it felt like that anyway, but the piece that I got that I like the most has to be my Dalek To Victory T-shirt.
Sorry for the long post, and thanks to all those that commented about my plight. Continuous back-ups are in my future, my papa will not be deleting my data any more.
Carol
