Legendary keyboardist Keith Emerson to perform in Arlington.
New England Art Rock Society, NewEars, is proud to host Rock keyboardist Keith Emerson and the Keith Emerson Band for a special evening at the Regent Theater in Arlington MA June 26, at 8pm.
Emerson's resume includes the innovative groups, The T Bones, The Nice and 70's rock supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Long known for his pioneering musical work in keyboards with the late Robert Moog, inventor of the Moog synthesizer, Emerson's talents also have included film scores and a successful solo career.
This rare live perfomance highlights his latest cd release "Off The Shelf" to be released on April 25, 2006. The songs, referred to by Emerson as an "audio montage of musical snapshots," are rare and previously unreleased solo recordings the keyboardist stockpiled from the mid-1980s to almost the present day.
Keith Emerson's exciting stage presence and his musical repetoire consisting of classical, jazz and rock inspirations are enhanced by the Keith Emerson Band for a truly memorable musical evening.
