My Pennsic was pretty quiet, actually. I don't think it even merits a cut.
-Canvas is great.
-I Genesii had an excellent show. It was not as raunchy as they sometimes are, and we made some mistakes, but I am extremely pleased with how it turned out and I thought everybody did a great job.
-Fenced pickups on Wednesday. They were reasonably entertaining. It's felt to me for a long while that I have good senses, but I'm a step slow or a step off or something. Now that I haven't done any fencing in months, I'm two steps slow or off. My own fault, but *sigh*.
-Helped bartend the Polyhymnia cocktail party. There was one or two people out there who absolutely loved the Charles. I'm not particularly great at bartending, but I like doing it. I think I've got a good feel for it, but I need to learn better techniques.
-I learned that Cooper's is a popular area for student pilots to practice stalls, which is something you wouldn't notice if you didn't know what to look for. :)
-A roomy tent is also great.
-Quasi-bachelor party initiated by
hildakrista and
parowa that mostly involved singing '80s songs and lots of very good vodka.
-Mostly hung out in camp a lot, but it was comfy and I wasn't particularly looking for an active Pennsic, just something where I could chill out, drink to a healthy buzz (which didn't happen quite as often as I'd hoped, oh well), and not think about work or whatever.
I think for the most part it was kind of a forgettable war, but I wasn't really asking for much or looking to do much, so I'm not really complaining.
