Edward James Olmos thinks we're "lovely"
So I had to post this picture, as it is evidence of the best DragonCon 2008 moment for me! After working quite a long time on our Doctor Who costumes (new season 2 episode, "The Girl in the Fireplace), we showed them off on Sunday night. While we were walking around, a woman asked if she and her daughter could get a picture with us, and of course we said yes. They posed, and I realized who was taking the picture ... Edward James "Bill Frakking Adama" Olmos. Not only did he take a picture of his wife and daughter with us, he then gave the camera to his wife because HE wanted a picture with US!

I was a bit in shock, and had to chase him down to see if he would mind us getting a picture with him, since I was betting I'd never find the picture online. He was pleased to, and said we were "lovely, quite lovely" as his wife took the picture. He was incredibly nice, and really seemed to be enjoying himself. And it marks the first time when an actor wanted a picture with me and not the other way around. Like I said, the best moment of the con for me!!! :)
