why do people act the way that they do? why do we put down people to make ourselves feel better? why must other people's misery be enjoyment to others?

the people that do it are always affected by it.

just using my journal for therapy.

maybe it's just me, but i think we have some pretty two-faced guys at our school. and it seems like no one else realizes it. for example- the "cool" guys on the flames team sit at their lunch table and make fun of just about every girl in our grade, even the ones they are friends with, or the ones they claim to be friends with. why doesn't anyone see through their acts? they're nice when they want stuff from people [homework, food, etc] and then act like shitheads when our backs are turned. i honestly think they're a bunch of little girls talking behind each others' and everyone elses' backs. what happened to guys not being as dramatic as girls? and the way they make fun of each other- i actually feel sorry for some of them. certain guys are targets of all their jokes, which is even worse then them joking the girls, because they joke these guys IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES. i would feel like shit if my friends made fun of me while i was sitting right there like those guys make fun of certain people in their group. i mean, i know guys are supposed to joke around with each other and be guys, but i think that they've taken it a bit too far. maybe they should find some new hobbies or something.

okay, i'm done. i just needed to let that all out, it's been bothering me for a while, and it gets worse every day.

now that you mention it, the guys i know are really harsh on some other guuys. noticed it last year too. who are you though? oh and the guys get all mad at us cause they dont do it behind each other backs. i guess theyre method is more truthful, but i think it hurts more. i dunno. what do you think?

thanks for the thought. you have a point.

I totally agree with the anonymous person. And actually Carter, they do do it behind our backs...Some guys have told me about what they say at that lunch table...And it's horrible. But either way is dumb, and pointless, and just hurts peoples feelings.

Love you, Carterrr.:]<3

i sat with them last year at lunch everyday... and although the joking seems harsh to you..its not to them, and it wasnt to me either. i mean, yeah i agree that it could be mean and yeah i know they talk about people [me included] behind backs.. but i think what you are saying is kind of unfair. i am assuming you are a girl and obviously, you don't sit with those guys.

when they joke..they all joke eachother. it isnt really as harsh as your making it seem..all the guys get joked..they laugh at themselves. i like it more then everyone talking behind peoples backs.. i dont know i mean i guess your right anonymous person, but i do think your opinion is kind of one-sided.
