immigration
So, I spent most of yesterday dealing with medical exam stuff for immigration. some of this is my own fault because I was lacking the ID photos, and had to go get them and blahblahblah. nevertheless, my appt was at 10:30 and I didnt get through the whole thing (medical history quiz, perfunctory exam, X-ray, and bloodwork) until nearly 3pm. To be fair, i did go have breakfast and coffee and read while waiting for my photos during that period.
What this means, however, is that I should really try to have all of my paperwork ready to send within the next few weeks, so that it arrives roughly the same time as the medical report, not a month later. Besides, the quicker its in, the quicker I'm in.
So, I need to start harassing people for letters and pictures (thanks to those who have already done so). Mom is coming from the 2nd the the 7th. Birthday party on the 4th. Then I am going to the meditation retreat thingy from the 8th to 18th. Therefore, I think I should get as much as possible, if not all together for March 1st, and sent before I go. No problem.
Which reminds me, invites for said party must go out post-haste.
